1. Who controls your data

DesignCheer is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. The legal business name and registered address must be inserted here before the website begins accepting enquiries or payments.

2. Data we may collect

• Identity and contact details, such as your name, business name, email address and phone number.
• Project information, files, feedback and messages you choose to share.
• Billing and transaction records processed through Stripe. DesignCheer does not receive or store full card details directly.
• Private client-chat messages, attachments and conversation details processed through Crisp after subscription access is verified.
• Basic technical information, such as IP address, device, browser and server logs used to operate and secure the website.
• Cookie and analytics preferences if optional measurement or advertising tools are introduced.

3. Why we use it

Data may be used to answer enquiries, provide and improve design services, manage projects and invoices, secure the website, meet legal obligations and send relevant service or marketing communications only with a valid basis.

The legal basis may be steps taken before a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests such as service security, or your consent where required.

4. Service providers

Current providers include Stripe for subscription payments, Crisp for private subscriber messaging, Google Workspace for business communications, Cal.com for booking and Vercel for website hosting when deployed. Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy notice.

Any international transfers and the safeguards used for them must be confirmed as part of the final legal review before launch.

5. How long data is kept

Personal data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, including project delivery, customer support, accounting, tax, dispute and security requirements. Practical retention periods will be documented when the business systems are configured.

6. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Security and updates

Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used to protect personal data, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. This notice may be updated as the service, suppliers or legal requirements change.
